Adam is a seasoned talent acquisition manager with over a decade of experience in cultivating high-performing teams within dynamic, fast-growing organizations such as Target, Canada Goose, and his current role at SSENSE. Throughout his career, Adam has honed his expertise in developing strategic talent acquisition initiatives across a diverse array of industries, ranging from retail, food & beverage, and fashion & design to marketing & creative, finance, accounting, supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing.

At the core of Adam's approach lies his ability to craft tailored talent strategies and refine hiring processes that seamlessly align with the overarching objectives of both his teams and the companies he serves. His strategic mindset and keen understanding of organizational needs enable him to deliver exceptional results in talent acquisition, driving forward the mission and vision of his employers.

Currently, as the leader of two pivotal teams at SSENSE, Adam oversees talent acquisition efforts for corporate and operational functions, overseeing a workforce of over 1,500 dedicated individuals. Additionally, he plays a central role in managing the operational aspects of talent acquisition, including overseeing the technology stack and leveraging data insights to inform decision-making across the entire people team. Through his leadership and strategic guidance, Adam continues to drive growth and success, ensuring that SSENSE remains at the forefront of talent acquisition excellence.

Aaron Pacheco is a seasoned Senior TA Consultant with over 6 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as a dynamic member of the Scotia Wealth team for the past 3 years.

Aaron has established himself as a proficient recruitment expert. Throughout his career, Aaron has supported a diverse range of businesses, leveraging his expertise to identify top talent.

Aaron has dedicated to driving success through strategic hiring initiatives. Beyond his professional career, Aaron enjoys staying active, participating in community events & enjoying time with his family.

Graduating from Sheridan College's postgraduate program in Human Resource Management in 2014, Melissa kickstarted her career with a co-op placement at Sobeys, where she gained invaluable experience that opened doors to numerous opportunities.

Throughout her career journey, Melissa has held positions at reputable organizations such as Rexall and Compass Group Canada, where she honed her skills and expertise in various aspects of HR management. In her most recent role as an HR Business Partner at Trillium Health Partners, Melissa has demonstrated her ability to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders, provide strategic HR support, and drive initiatives that contribute to organizational success.

With a strong foundation in HR principles, coupled with her hands-on experience anddedication, Melissa continues to make meaningful contributions to the field of human resources, striving for excellence in every aspect of her professional journey.

Ritika Dubey is a business reporter at The Canadian Press. She joined CP last year after a stint at The Hamilton Spectator. Ritika also covered drugs and health and was invited to a Harvard Law School panel in 2022 to talk about her coverage. An international student from Delhi, India, Ritika graduated from Sheridan College during the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020. 

Sam is a Game Design graduate from Sheridan College. He's been working in the game industry as an animator and illustrator. He is most known for being the artist on Venba and his many animations on Instagram.

Hi, I'm Bhavish Jethwa, with a strong background in E-commerce Retail and Digital Marketing. Currently, as a Digital Experience Analyst at Walmart Canada, I specialize in optimizing e-commerce performance and enhancing user experiences through data-driven insights and strategic planning. With 3 years of experience, I've excelled in developing innovative strategies and delivering measurable results in digital marketing, leveraging tools like Adobe Analytics and SQL. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, capturing funny moments, and exploring new hiking trails.

Puneet Kaur Johal is a recent Sheridan graduate from Punjab, India. Puneet graduated from the Chemical Engineering Technology program in 2021 as the Valedictorian. She received the CSCT Silver Medal Award (2020) from the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) and the Wackerlin/Kogut Award of Excellence in Chemical Sciences (2021). She is currently working as a research assistant at Sheridan. Puneet is deeply passionate about learning and researching and her interests include quantum physics, chemical physics and astrophysics.

Daniel Gordon specializes in employment law and social assistance cases. He joined North Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services as a Law Practice Program Candidate (equivalent to articling) in 2017, focusing on assisting clients with their ODSP appeals. He joined Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services as a lawyer in 2018. Prior to joining North Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services, Daniel participated in two legal clinics in Detroit, where he worked in the areas of mortgage foreclosure defense and mediation. Daniel holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from the University of Windsor, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. (Hons.)) degree from Western University. Daniel is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
